Resumen
With the pandemic promoted by Covid-19, organizations and their leaders were forced to think of alternatives so that their business activities suffered the least impact. The readjustment took place in all sectors/behavior of the work environment, including People Management. The Home office has become the main solution for the continuity of the organizational routine, even though it is a work model still little practiced by corporations. In this sense, the objective of this study was to analyze the perception of leaders regarding People Management at home office, pointing out the difficulties and benefits of the actions taken in this new work format, without negatively impacting the productivity and commitment of employees. For that, the case study method was used, applied in the metropolitan region of Londrina-PR, in order to analyze the experiences obtained by 25 leaders from different small and medium-sized companies. From the results, there was great acceptance of the Home office by managers, in several aspects, such as: quality of work performed, performance, flexibility and engagement of its employees. It was emphasized that, given the effectiveness of the model, its post-pandemic continuity may be possible without damage to the organization.
