Abstract

Being one of the most talked about issues today, environmental degradation is inextricably linked to the emission of pollutants in water, land and air. Across industries in all industries and the overuse of non-renewable natural resources. In this context, the textile industry becomes a significant source of pollution in rivers due to the disposal of their waste without proper treatment. These effluents are originated from beneficiation processes and dyeing of textile substrates, in which chemicals are used and synthetic dyes, often toxic substances derived from oil and coal. In counterpart, are natural dyes, with features less polluting, renewable, which may be extracted from leaves, bark, roots, among others In this sense, the research aims to enter the fashion market Gala dress natural dyeing, along with the fabric of natural silk, as a way of sustainability and exclusivity in the results. To carry out this work was carried out literature about the segment gala dress, natural dyes and main jaws used in natural dyeing. Based on research conducted was performed the experimental part of the work consisted of qualitative analysis, the focus group methods and implementation of the manufacture of parts with the completion of dyeing by artisanal techniques.
