The use of organic compost provides benefits such as, improved soil structure, increased microbial activity, increase in nutrient cycling, contributing to soil fertility. Therefore, the aim of this study was to verify y the feasibility of reuse of organic waste in agriculture through composting of cassava peel, sawdust, cow manure and green leaves. For composting, three treatments and two replications.The treatment 1 was composed by 100% cassava peel, the treatment 2, was composed by 70% cassava peel and 30% sawdust, the treatment 3 was composed by 60% cassava peel, 20% sawdust and 20% cow manure. The windrows mounted on a static open system, with turnings every seven days each. At 34 days 67 days 97 days and 122 days was measured the temperature and collected samples for the measurement of pH. The last collection for sampling at 122 days was determined and moisture that reach the standard for the three treatments. With 125 days, the analyzes determine the contents of macro and micronutrients. Among three treatments, the treatment 3 was the only one that reached complete maturation, being suitable for agricultural use. Through the results, was possible to conclude, that low temperatures, can affected the decomposition of the compound.
