Resumen
The present work deals with the technical and environmental feasibility of rainwater harvesting construction site, its use in wetting of access roads and cooling asphalt tarmac of aircraft: case study International Airport Curitiba - Afonso Pena. Identifies the volume of rainwater that can be captured; also aims to identify the potential of rainwater for use in wetting the roads and in the process of cooling the tarmac and contribute to groundwater recharge thus promoting the minimization of the use of groundwater and rivers for non-potable purposes. For values of the amount of water captured by the covered areas of the construction sit, used the Rippl method. In this research the values of the catchment areas were as follows: Area Technical /Administrative - 100.0 m2 General Warehouse - 36.30 m2 Warehouse electrical equipment - 48.00 m2 area and bathroom - 33.00 m2. The volume of accumulated rain water was 364.09 m3. The system will capture a significant contribution to the supply of water to these processes and activities, preserving wate, a rich well that is already scarce in many places in the world.
