Dimensionamento de muro de arrimo em concreto armado e comparação de custos com o sistema pré-moldado

Abstract

This report presents a comparative case study between the costs of a reinforced concrete retaining wall with clay masonry and the precast system. For this purpose, data have been collected in a real structure to be build in Campo Mourão, Central West Region of Paraná State. Costs of the precast system have been surveyed by two companies’ budgets from the area. The reinforced concrete retaining was designed with special attention to the piles exposed to the horizontal forces from Earth thrust. The active forces were achieved form Rankine theory, and the structure analysis were made by Ftool software. The retaining quotation was made by prices from the project area. In conclusion, the obtained costs and advantages and disadvantages of any analyzed method were compared.
