Resumen
The current research aims to highlight the importance of gamification as auxiliar tool for teaching literature, in addition to this, it is provided to teachers a pedagogical allowance só that they can create a proposal of intervention to any problem inside the classroom, the low interest and motivation of students for reading literary texts.Thus, this work proposes the possibility of using gamification as an active methodology in teaching literature in first-year schools and highlights the importance of new technologies in order to add other experiences to the understanding of a literary text. The methodology applied was the bibliography research which consists of making clear theoretical issues regarding teaching literature as well as the use of new technologies.
