Resumen
The challenges of literacy are numerous, especially for the literacy teacher when it comes to evaluating students' writing stages. This process requires both theoretical knowledge and sensitivity to accurately diagnose the hypothetical level of the child’s writing construction. Usually, this work is done by literacy teachers manually, and it requires more time from these professionals, since it is not easy to perform it collectively. This way, in this study I have tried to answer the following problem: can technology support the work of literacy educators in probing the writing hypothesis? In this sense, I intend to achieve such objectives: to produce an application to digitally identify the literacy level of the children through some criteria such as the time children take to complete each phase, the number of abstentions, and classification of the level in which each child is. I also intend to test the prototype with children of a municipal school in the city of Londrina – PR and analyze if the results of this digital evaluation are the same as the manual diagnosis; and finally to learn the opinions of the literacy teachers about the application. In order to accomplish so I have used the following research methods bibliographic, field, experimental and analytical. I performed two implementation stages in 36 children from a municipal school in the city of Londrina - PR. In both situations, the application developed, which I have named Psicogênese da Escrita Infantil (PEI), presented in its report the hypothetical stage of written language according to the theory of Psychogenesis of Written Language proposed by Ferreiro and Teberosky (1999). The results have validated the efficacy of the application, since they were compatible with the manual evaluation done by the literacy teachers. The literacy teachers considered that the product has a pedagogical potential of insertion in their work that would provide a mediation of learning through technology.
