Resumen
The Belin Carolo Gymnasium, now part of the structure of UTFPR, was built in late 1970 by
the city of Campo Mour˜ao, in order to accommodate some of the JAP’s competitions of 1976. The gym has this name in honor of a pioneer of the city donated the land for its construction was made possible by the then mayor Renato Fernandes Silva. This work is a source of pride for citizens mour˜aoenses and is considered the cultural heritage of the city for its size, beauty and importance. In 1995 the land that the fence was donated to house the old CEFET-PR and its facilities were used primarily for teaching activities. By this construction has highlighted that
it was chosen by the software (version 15.0), be graphically represented by quadric equations. This software is widely used in academia and has several features that enable a more dynamic teaching and learning. For the representation of the gym through graphs, structural projects have been raised of the gym, measurements were made on the spot and used some geometric and trigonometric relationships to obtain their main measures. These measures formed the basis for obtaining the equations were transformed into the application Maple commands that allow the visualization of the surface between specific intervals. Maple also allows to set the color, clarity,
style, position and other properties of the surface plot, it is possible to represent more faithfully each worked surface. Through the equations could bring some important numbers about the gym as capacity, distance from the free space, sport court area, area coverage, maximum height among others. With a special command of the application could display all the structures of
the gym, which were built separately, in a single graph, representing the construction in three dimensions.
