Resumen
Performace analysis of PID controllers tuned by five diferente methods, which are: Cohen-Coon, Ziegler-Nichols, CHR 0%, CHR 20% and SIMC. These controllers will be used for two actuators of the automotive cooling system, which are: Volumetric capacity of the evaporator compressor and angular position of the Mixing Damper. The only output variable is the car’s internal temperature. The mathematic model used that describes the relationship between inputs and outputs was taken from the 1986 work of Tsutomu Tabe, Katsumasa Matsui, Tohru Kakehi and Masahiro Ohba, all from Tokyo University, entitled “Automotive Climate Control” in which he used an identification method of systems to obtain the mathematical model in space of internal temperature states as a function of the aforementioned inputs. To obtain the model and system responses, the software “MATLAB2017” will be used, where performance calculations will also take place, this consists of four time integrals of the error: ISE, IAE, ITSE, ITAE and the accommodation time and overhoot of the system. After this is done, the best controller will be chosen based on the criterion of the one with the lowest performance indexes.
