Resumen
This research focused to analyze and pre-treat residual vegetable oil for use in biodiesel production and proved to be a very cost effective option as it is more feasible than diesel oil produced from oil and to avoid the improper disposal of in the environment. The objective of this study was analyze and make the pretreatment of residual oil of fry to check if is possible use it as raw material of the production of biodiesel. The raw material was characterized in terms of moisture, Peroxide value, acid index and insoluble impurities in ether. For the pretreatment were used natural lands clarifiers (B-80) and activated (P-6000), from commercial sources. In the moisture content values significantly there was no difference between the gross land and treatments, but there was a decrease in values and were within the expected, the determination of peroxides, the most satisfactory results on the use of B-80 in the land ratio of 0.40% and 0.60%, to acidity and content of impurities insoluble in ether, use of land clarifiers in any proportion has a pretreatment of positive effect. Analyzing all the parameters and taking into account the cost / benefit the best option would be the pre-treatment with the B-80 land at the rate of 0.20%.
