Resumen
The acoustic emitters are generally designed to have a directional emission, however due to constructive characteristics, design flaws and/0r cost reduction, these devices in certain cases do not have an emission as specified so that may cause, loss of power, undesirable noise and other probleims, thus characterization is one way of identifying such failures. The acoustic characterization consists in the nneasurennent and analysis of the emission profiles of acoustic sources. The objective of this project is to characterize such sources, using an automated table, developed in a previous Final Project, whose physical structure and control programming were improved to meet the specifications of this project. The characterization of the emitters applies the time-stretched pulse method to obtain the impulsive response of the emitters, and irradiation diagrams were made from these innpulsive responses. For this project, three acoustic emitters were analyzed, and also the application of acoustic insulation to change the irradiation of a ennitter was analyzed.
