Resumen
This work presents the development of a methodology for the implementation of a laboratory accredited by the National Institute of Metrology Quality and Technology (INMETRO) for the execution of the labeling tests on inverters connected to the grid up to 10 kW. Inverter labeling trials are required for the commercialization of this nonBrazilian product and there is currently a shortage of accredited laboratories suitable for testing, creating barriers for manufacturers and importers who need to validate or evaluate the performance of their products. This study also aims to provide support as teaching and research institutions to provide new services. A description and methodology of the tests are described in detailed general instructions and standards for inverters used in connection with the electrical network. The inverter is the equipment that is of vital importance within a photovoltaic solar generation system because it is mainly responsible for transforming the energy into DC power generated by solar panels in AC power, which is most consumed in homes and also the one that is Used for a connection to the distribution grid. As a final result, they are considered as general considerations regarding the implementation of an accredited laboratory and importance for Brazil, for a society as a whole, including a basis for new lines of research and teaching.
