Extração de produção bibliográfica a partir do currículo Lattes

Abstract

The Lattes Platform was designed by the The Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) in order to support the activities of Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) of Brazil. The Lattes curriculum, its main component, is considered the national registration standard of all academic activities of researchers, and is adopted by most educational institutions and research institutes. The CNPq provides the Lattes curriculum of researchers in XML format. This format, that is a standard for exchanging data between computer systems, may be used to obtain ST&I production data from a group of researchers. This work presents the design and implementation of a system that performs the extraction of ST&I information from those XML files of a particular group of researchers and presents reports on such information. These generated reports can be used, for example, by managers of educational institutions or coordinators of the graduate programs.
