Resumen
This paper aimed the implementation of a power supply using a 40A automotive battery, replacing Nobreaks in the wireless systems. This impacts strongly in the costsreduction since in the current market a Nobreak like the one that is installed nowadays in the units of transmission costs around 300 reais, while the proposed system costs 90 reais. It is not only the benefit of costs reduction to the implementation of the new model, but what calls the attention is the autonomy of the battery feeding the equipments, in other words, the electrical charge in the output was reduced and increased the battery duration from 6 hours to around 170 hours. At this moment the system implemented is a project pilot, however it may be repeated in other units of the organization thus represents an important differential related to costs, as well as simpler and programmed maintenance resulting in benefits of quickness and saving money along the time.
