Obtenção de biodiesel a partir de óleo de amendoim refinado, por transesterificação metílica em meio básico

Abstract

This work presents as an approach the obtainment of peanut oil biodiesel by methyl transesterification in the presence of basic catalysts, in addition to attempts to obtain biodiesel by ethyl route. This work also analyzes the obtainment by catalysts variations, amount of catalyst, temperature and time. In biodiesel obtained and used oil, analysis are performed to determine if they are in proper conditions for use as well as to determine whether the obtained biodiesel is within the standards required by ANP 255, EN 14214 and ASTM D6751. As a result we found the specific conditions to obtain biodiesel best yield and quality for this type of oil.
