Resumen
The vibration analysis of mechanical components is extremely important to monitor predictive maintenance as it can predict failures before they happen. In the state of the art of engineering scenario are many equipment that can performmeasurements through different measuring methods. However, not all methods follow a standard norm or are used correctly. Thereby, some results may not reflect reality or generate useful information for decision making in regard of maintenance. The ISO 10816 standard shows guidelines for measurement, vibration criteria, meter placement and other relevant parameters. Thus, the study will be based on a specific component that suffers from vibration in different types of machines, the bearing support of a centrifugal hydraulic pump. The results of the vibration analysis study on these components contribute for logical conclusions in regard of the different service factors of the analyzed hydraulic pump.
