Resumen
Study of the behavior of austenitic refractory austenitic stainless steel of the pulverized coal injection (PCI) lances in the steel industry with the objective of increase the component life with reliably and safety. Evaluate the Failure Modes & Effects Analysis of the component, microstructure degradation and behavior in prolonged exposures at elevated temperature and oxidizing atmosphere. Analysis results of the surface hardness, fluid wear and visual evaluation of the surface exposed to the blast furnace combustion atmosphere. And acquire information of the condition of the blast furnace PCI lances exposed to elevated temperature and oxidizing atmosphere to evaluate mechanical properties and thermal degradation to consider increased of service life.
