Uma abordagem da logística lean aplicada em um centro de distribuição de uma empresa de materiais para construção

Abstract

Expanding the lean thinking beyond the production lines, going through the entire supply chain and reaching the distribution of the finished product, has become increasingly a competitive advantage factor among organizations, which look for to attend the customers' needs in the best way. This work aims to propose the implementation of lean tools in a distribution center of a company located in a city in the contryside of Paraná, giving a greater focus to the value stream map, for the purpose of getting to know the process and the losses involved in this, so that in the future activities that do not add value to the customer and are not necessary to the process, are eliminated, reducing costs and waste, and maximizing profit. During this paper, the necessary concepts, the methodology used, the current and future value flow maps, and other analyzes will be presented, as well as the results and conclusions of the study on which approach is better, current or future.
