Resumen
Be literate is everyone`s right, however just few among the population have acess to this right. In this situation, we recognize the lack of knowledge about the methods to literate is a hindrance to consolidate a wide literacy. This completion of course work has as wide objective analise literacy methods and their efficiency in the students learning process in the most effective social practice of reading and writing. The especific objective was conceptualize the literacy and it implications in the learning process; analise public policy focused on literacy and research aboute the formation route of the literacy teachers. For this, the chosen research was qualitative and with focus on descritive research; the major collect instrument was the bibliography research by collecting theoric referencial data about the Teaching of reading and write and Literacy. Finally, what was intended is to contribute to the development of actions focused on the formation process of the teachears, allowing, especially, a reflexion relating to the practices executed in classes room`s.
