Abstract

The aim of this work is to approach the public financing and also to considerate the types that compose it. This monograph presents the public funding schemes and public funding of integrated projects. Then describe on the supervision of public funding. Greater emphasis will be given to the allocation of public resources for sporting events and the BNDES. Finally, discussed will be discussed the waste of public money at the World Cup 2014 and the Arena Corinthians. The type of research is applied, the objective of the research is explanatory, the approach is qualitative and the procedure is literature. The BNDES is the main funding organization of the economy. The audit shall be done by representatives of external organizations, by representatives of the government and civil society. Most investments for the 2014 World Cup was with public resources. The financing of the Arena Corinthians was made with extensive guarantees.
