Resumen
The overall objective is to demonstrate that through the individual analysis of the variables that impact a productive process, you can make improvements in each controlling them individually. The methodology used to conduct this research was the analysis of all processes and key variables that would impact the performance of stamping in the automotive industry. The analysis started with the use of a causeroot diagram (Ishikawa) and, thereafter, were individually analyzed the possible causes through process charts and statistical controls (Letter CEP). This system enabled us to identify which variables were impacting more the process, and helped develop a plan of action, and then act more objectively the root because that caused disturbance in the process, trying thus performance of machinery. The results obtained showed that the main cause of the observed impact of the tooling process was the lack of standardization work in shifts who performed the maintenance and corrections of the tooling, and a simple plan of action helped direct the work team. With this analysis it was found that a production process is extremely sensitive to process variation such as from chemical composition of raw materials and tools to fit and suffering a lot of pressure and volume manufacturing yield. So carry a variable analysis variable, using a simple tool like Ishikawa diagram, can help direct actions to the real cause and act consistently and assertive.
