Avaliação das condições de operação de uma ETE segundo os critérios de um gestor ambiental

Abstract

The concern about sanitation has always been constant across civilizations. In Brazil, only in 1857 the contract for the construction of a collector net of sewers was approved to try to solve problems related to the lack of sanitation. Considering this reality, this paper had the goal of analyzing a Station of Treatment of Effluents at Faxinal dos Guedes from the point of view of an Environmental Manager. The applied techniques were observed, the phases of the Treatment of Effluents, and what is necessary for a Station to fully work and minimize the damages to the Environment. What was found is ETE has some deficiencies and needs countless improvements, but for those to be solved, it depends on the cooperation of all citizens, besides public investment. With the realization of this research, it’s evident the need of the universalization of the access to the net of treatment of effluents.
