The survey titled The Importance Playfulness in kindergarten shows the possibilities and benefits to children, their development in various aspects, favoring their growth, their socialization and learning through diversified activities, which are possible through playfulness, being so that the study aimed to understand the importance of playfulness in early childhood education, acquired through play and games in order to enable them to develop autonomy, coordination, creativity, beyond the affection, their socialization, interaction with other children and mostly fun. Today the play is associated with games, jokes, interest, pleasure, helps develop creativity and provides welfare to the learners, it is up to the physical education professional use playfulness as a means to develop many skills in their students so that teaching and learning happen spontaneous, fun and mostly significantly. This work was composed through the literature and analyzing many different authors that allowed to understand the importance of playfulness in children's development. Thus, it was possible to understand that the work done with playfulness comes through time conquering its space, its importance and even necessity, becoming an important action in general, action is present in human life at all stages either in childhood, adulthood or old age, and the playful action contributes to the construction of autonomy, however, it was also noted that the play contribute to the development of the child, and in school they need to have the teacher mediation because this environment what is sought is the transmission and assimilation of knowledge socially constituted by humanity.
