Resumen
Currently almost half of the population digitally excluded (GIACOMELE, 2015) because of the difficulty of getting infrastructure in some regions with low-income population. Another impediment of digital access to the population would be the geographic density that increases the installation of physical infrastructure. These obstacles point to the need for new cost-effective solutions and easy deployment in areas of difficult access to wired infrastructure. The solution would be to install wireless mesh networks (Wi-Mesh) due to its ability to establish multiple routes simply by having the facility to suit the needs of the network and its low cost of deployment. Thus, we chose wireless routers, dual band, with technology 802.11ac and the DD-WRT firmware for its web interface with support for the router TP-Link AC 1200 v.1.2. The objectives would be to test the speed and loss of packages, but the DD-WRT firmware not supplied the scored purposes in the project, requiring perform tests with other firmware’s with native 802.11s standard. The delay in the processing of the document's design release process in the respective public agency was one of the difficulties encountered and prevented the development of the project as planned. Another obstacle in implementing the project was that there is no easy to implement procedures to return the original firmware on the router and used for this was the cancellation of two routers.
