Resumen
The continuous improvement of quality is already part of the business plan of industries that focus its activities on competitiveness and market leadership. Therefore, it seeks to develop programs to promote the improvement of the quality and provide higher profits in the shortest time after its implementation. The Self-Control Program currently constitutes the main agribusiness tool in controlling manufacturing processes in order to ensure the quality and safety of produced food. In addition, the implementation of this program increases the competitiveness in the national market and makes possible the marketing of products abroad, since it enables compliance with the requirements of importing countries. Based on Circular Letter n°. 175/2005 / CGPE / DIPOA the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Supply (MAPA), 16 inspection elements were implemented, validated and described in 327 documents containing self-control program in Bokada Food Industry Ltda. It was possible to adapt the most non-conformances raised, which made the industry able to control their production and safely.
