Resumen
In this work we seek to promote the innovation of technology through the use of a Gamification method. In order to do so, the theoretical models of Gamification presented in the literature were raised. Hence, this review attended to provide the theoretical basis for this work and also provide the alignment and convergence from the existing techniques of technological innovation. Given that, it was possible to create an abstract Gamification model to enhance technological innovation in companies. At first, the use of this proposed method acted on the level of maturity of the company allowing then the understanding of the current organization level. Thus, this can provide the games elements addition inside the company in order to promote the technological innovation. The developed model was applied in two companies and served as a support for the generation of new ideas. The results obtained in the pilot test were evaluated by the managers of the companies where the method was applied and this provided feedbacks on the opportunities and weaknesses of the proposed method. Finally, an evaluation of the model was carried out with the participants involved in the pilot test, which, finally, provided a broad view of the method from the point of view of an end user.
