Resumen
This dissertation studies an AC-CC and CC-AC integrated converter with high power factor, isolated and soft commutation in the start of conduction. The converter aims to integrate the small size wind generation to the energy distribution grid. The topology used is based on the DCM Boost three-phase rectifier and the ZVS-PWM isolated converter with active clamping. The converter operates in discontinuous conduction mode both in input and output and it is controlled through phase-shift modulation. The adopted power is 400W and the switching frequency is 43,2kHz. The converter in question is analyzed by three complementary ways aiming its validation: (a) analytical through working phases and respective equationing, (b) simulational through computational PSIM model and (c) empirical through a dedicated prototype.
