Resumen
Modern society is faced with the problem of high dependency on fossil fuels based energy. To solve this problem has developed a large number of researches and is seeking solutions for greater inclusion and use of renewable energy in the global energy matrix. The main highlight is for solar energy, which is available anywhere in the world, depending on the climatic conditions of the region, but with a higher harnessing compared with other used methods. The use of this can be done from solar photovoltaic systems, which can be installed in various locations, which work in collecting solar energy, transforming it into electrical energy that can be used in several ways. To improve these systems and for greater acceptability, reduction of production and generating energy costs are necessary, thus, power converters, that process the DC power generated to a higher level and transforming it into AC for users, must be optimized. Static converters used in this work are based on the integration of two topologies, named Boost and Flyback. They get a high voltage gain, and are based on the use of coupled inductors, magnetic components that are used by the two converters resulting in an integrated high output voltage gain in the circuit. The magnetic component is the largest, bulkier and produces losses that reduce the efficiency of the converter. Coupled inductors are widely studied in this work, where a design methodology is implemented, which will lead to use the best component for the proposed converter in an attempt to improve their performance.
