Resumen
Given the lack of detail and precision existent in the traditional project system utilizing CAD, this work deals with clash detection process of BIM tools in a case study of a commercial building. Therefore, a building was modelled in BIM platform with the projects previously compatibilized using the 2D method. These same projects were used in site. The architectural, structural, sanitary system, air renovation and electrical projects were modelled, and, interference checks were made between them. Finally, an analysis is made of incompatibilities found. After analyzing the incompatibilities in the case study, arguments are made about the advantages of compatibilization and design methods using BIM tools, which is the main idea behind this study.
