Aiming at a better performance in the country's buildings, where people started to enjoy even more of the comfort of their home, either in the sense of comfort, facilities, or connected to the home office, where this place is used as a work environment, in a non- as adequate as necessary, the acoustic comfort of buildings has become one of the main needs of a property. However, due to the excessive vertical growth of cities, buildings are built with great proximity and thus, greatly increasing the perception of noise, especially aerial noise. In this sense, as a result of the Brazilian performance standard (NBR 15575) of 2013, such sound insulation for properties has become an item with pre-established requirements, and must therefore be followed, with inspection coming from public bodies. Thus, it emphasizes the importance of the study in question, taking into account a current issue and the growth in the civil construction sector, in which it focuses on the analysis of a housing complex, built in Guarapuava - PR. Regarding the measurements, they followed the engineering method carried out in the field, which is covered by NBR 15575-3 (ABNT, 2021), between different floor units, therefore, the bedroom of two vertically overlapping units was defined as measurement enclosures without any type of furniture, unoccupied. Regarding some parameters, such as sound pressure level, background noise and reverberation time data were collected. When comparing the results obtained with normative requirements, it was concluded that they are classified as a minimum performance level. Thus, concluding that environmental comfort for residents has become one of the main points in the analysis at the time of purchase and needs a better constructive analysis, because if improvements are made after the completion of the work, the executive difficulty is greater and even exposes the residents to excessive noise, which can bring serious reprisals to health.
