Resumen
An automated system for the excitation of Surface Plasmon in Angular Interrogation Mode is proposed. The objective of the experiment is to measure the plasmon resonance in the traditional configurations known as the Kretschmann and Otto Configuration and to analyze the measurements through the graphical interface developed with the LabVIEW® platform. The results obtained experimentally are compared with those simulated by the WinSpall free software demonstrating coherence within the conditions established for each measure. Thus, the system is effective in measuring surface plasmon resonance in Kretschmann Configuration and guided modes in Otto Configuration. In addition, system automation allows fast analysis than manual analysis, optimizing data processing and acquisition.
