Resumen
The current work presents an observation of the execution systematic of collective protections, focusing in lifelines, at the civil construction industry, in a company in the city of Londrina, analyzing the general conditions and comparing with the procedures established by the current standards. First, this works presents the reality of work’s accidents at the civil construction industry, highlighting that most of the deaths is caused by falls from height. The methodology chosen to develop this work is the qualified study at work places in the company, in order to collect more information and knowledge of the safety procedures applied, specially the collective protections. The results diagnose the measures taken about protection against falls from height in two constructions sites from the same company, in the city of Londrina, evidencing that in relation to the anchor system, the documentary part from the studied company goes further than the standards from "NR35" in some situations, however it is still necessary to have specifics projects and supervision in the use of lifelines.
