Resumen
The objective is to identify the contributions of educational game developed "Playing with the Cell" to learn about the multidimensional concepts of cellular metabolism. This game was developed from research on the scientific understanding of cell biology and its applications in daily life. The game was applied to a class of first year of teaching middle of the city of Ponta Grossa. The results were analyzed using qualitative methodology. The questionnaire was developed simulating the application of knowledge in order to verify that scientific literacy multidimensional was achieved. The results differ from the exposed Pedrancini (2007) and Bastos (1992), therefore, recognize that students show the organelles were involved in cell metabolism and understood that man manipulates the cell in accordance with the interests of model society (capitalist).
