dc.description.abstractThe responsibilities of the company’s procurement department aren’t limited to just locate, analyze critically, prepare documents and participate in public bids. The department has the responsibility to manage and control the flow of information throughout the sales process, for example, control the results of the processes occurring during the month, the commitment and the supply order, requests for documents and samples, consumption of public institutions etc. This information can be viewed through indicators designed to meet the need of having measurable results, where it is necessary the continuous improvement process that allows for the efficient administration of the sales of these processes, the related information and consequently bring better results for companies. The methodology undertaken to develop this work was to literature, documentary and exploratory observation made in the department of bidding. Through the data collected made it possible to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the procedures used by employees in the sales process of the company and provide instruments for improvement tool based on the Balanced Scorecard.
