Análise das condições de segurança e mecânicas em tratores de colheita florestal

Abstract

The mechanization of the primary sectors has intensified in recent decades, seeking greater efficiency and productivity to meet the demand for raw material for meeting the growing demand. In the timber sector this shift has intensified in recent decades, with the mechanization of forest harvesting, aiming at higher production size, decrease cost and uniformity of product sector. The use of more powerful and faster machines serves to increase production, but also changes the characteristics and severity of accidents linked to this activity. Formerly the nature of accidents is linked heavy and severe features of manual labor, which resulted in cuts, amputations, muscle strains, crushes, and attacks of venomous animals. With mechanization, the hazards are more attached to conditions of machines and devices that will reduce the possibility of accidents. The safety and mechanical tractors become essential for the reduction of accidents and worker exposure to hazards during operation. This research discusses the analysis of the equipment, devices and measures to be taken to increase safety at safe work operation following the Brazilian standards.
