dc.descriptionThe investigation had as objective to bring a group of students together to the valuation and promotion of the funeral patrimony of “El Cuadrado” graveyard in Maracaibo city, from the photographic optics. For this, an introductory workshop was prepared about heritage, funeral tradition and iconography present on the architecture and statuary of the graveyard, as well as a viewing of the place which allowed the student to know, recognize, analyze and assume a critical position about the heritage value of the oldest camposanto in the city. It’s an experience focused from the photographic image, that allowed to approach the funeral work of art and the heritage in an innovative way, generating personal speeches from particular forms of expression in which subjectivity and intimacy of the photographers are combined with the emotional state, proposing solutions and concrete perspectives that guide the eyes and translate into various fragments of reality.en-US
dc.descriptionLa investigación tuvo como objetivo acercar a un grupo de estudiantes a la valoración y promoción del patrimonio funerario del Cementerio El Cuadrado de la ciudad de Maracaibo, desde la óptica fotográfica. Para ello, se preparó un taller introductorio sobre patrimonio, tradición funeraria e iconografía presente en la arquitectura y estatuaria del cementerio, acompañado de una visita al sitio, que permitiera a los estudiantes conocer, reconocer, analizar y asumir una postura crítica acerca del valor patrimonial del camposanto más antiguo de la ciudad. Es una experiencia enfocada desde la imagen fotográfica, que permitiera acercarse a la obra de arte funeraria y al patrimonio de forma innovadora, generando discursos propios a partir de particulares formas de expresión en las que la subjetividad e intimidad de los fotógrafos se conjuga con el estado emocional, proponiendo soluciones y perspectivas concretas que orientan la mirada y se traducen en diversos fragmentos de la realidad.es-ES
