| dc.description | Este texto tem o objetivo de partilhar experiências com o uso do Google Earth, do Google Maps e da plataforma virtual Kahoot para o ensino de geografia nas turmas do quinto ano do ensino fundamental e da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), ambas da Escola Hilda Weiss Trench, em Itapetininga, no interior do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. O uso das ferramentas foi feito em cinco encontros, no período da manhã, com alunos do quinto ano e pela noite, na EJA. Foram aulas práticas no laboratório de informática da escola, onde os alunos puderam explorar as ferramentas apresentadas para melhorar seu aprendizado da geografia. Essa experiência ajudou a compreender o paradoxo existente entre a necessidade de modernizar o ensino e a realidade tecnológica de uma escola, servindo para reflexão mais ampla sobre educação. | |
| dc.description | This text aims at sharing experiences with the use of Google Earth, Google Maps and the Kahoot virtual platform for the teaching of Geography in the fifth year of elementary school classes and the Youth and Adult Education (EJA), both of the School Hilda Weiss Trench, in Itapetininga, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The use of the tools was done in five meetings, in the morning, with students of the 5th grade at night, in the EJA. They were practical classes in the school’s computer lab, where students were able to explore the tools presented to improve their learning of Geography. This experience helped students to understand the paradox between the need to modernize teaching and the technological reality of a school, and to reflect on education more broadly. | |
