The documented, had as intention to analyze the relation of the social policy of the Venezuelan State within the framework of the endogenous development and the quality of life of the workers the analysis of each one of the categories allowed to reach the following conclusions: (a) the foundations of the present social policies are of legal, social and economic nature, made specific in laws, decrees and resolutions; with a non neoliberal design, that neglects the inherent thing to the globalización; (b) the social policies that have relation with the quality of life of the workers are the decree of minimum pay and the missions; (c) the quality of life of the Venezuelan has like attributes: the espontaneidad, the centralization of problems, the sense of solidarity and the sense of humor; (d) the criteria of quality of life are the right and sufficient pays, the conditions of security and well-being, as well as opportunities; (e) does not demonstrate an entailment between the present social policies of the Venezuelan State and the quality of life of the workers. El estudio documental, tuvo como propósito analizar la relación de la política social del Estado venezolano en el marco del desarrollo endógeno y la calidad de vida de los trabajadores. El estudio de cada una de las categorías permitió llegar a las siguientes conclusiones: (a) los fundamentos de las actuales políticas sociales son de naturaleza jurídica, social y económica, concretadas en leyes, decretos y resoluciones; con un diseño no neoliberal, que descuidan lo inherentea la globalización; (b) las políticas sociales que tienen relación con la calidad de vida de los trabajadores son el decreto de sueldo mínimo y las misiones; (c) la calidad de vida del venezolano tiene como atributos: la espontaneidad, la centralización de problemas, el sentido de solidaridad y el sentido del humor; (d) los criterios de calidad de vida son los sueldos justos y suficientes, las condiciones de seguridad y bienestar, así como oportunidades; (e) no se evidencia una vinculación entre las actuales políticas sociales del Estado venezolano y la calidad de vida de los trabajadores.
