COMMUNICATIONAL STRATEGIES FOR MARKETING OF VENEZUELAN CINEMA
ESTRATEGIAS COMUNICACIONALES PARA LA COMERCIALIZACIÓN DEL CINE VENEZOLANO

Resumen
The present article was derived from an investigation that had as objective to analyze the communication strategies for the commercialization of the Venezuelan cinema. It was based on the postulates of Elías and Mascaray (2008), Kotler and Armstrong (2003), among others. The research was descriptive, with a non-experimental and transectional design. The population was formed by (7) seven experts in communication strategies of Venezuelan cinema and (4) four Venezuelan filmmakers. The results showed that there is no communication strategies, Venezuelan cinema needs alternative strategies that cover the whole context. In addition, it was evidenced that there is no new strategies, the most pertinent ones to improve the development of marketing such as leverage which are known recurrent causes within an organization, the franchising that is the help with other companies for the exploitation of a Product, the intensive continuous function in the space where they allow to take to the Venezuelan cinema like a product and to know to position it in the market, to develop it in that market and the form of its development. Venezuelan cinema could use the tools of communication strategies and alternatives, to achieve effective marketing, starting from its distribution and exhibition, and intensifying the national culture. El presente artículo se derivó de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo analizar las estrategias comunicacionales para la comercialización del cine venezolano. Se fundamentó en los postulados de Elías y Mascaray (2008), Kotler y Armstrong (2003), entre otros. La investigación fue descriptiva, con un diseño no experimental y transeccional. La población estuvo conformada por (7) siete expertos en estrategias comunicacionales del cine venezolano y (4) cuatro cineastas venezolanos. Los resultados arrojaron que existe ausencia de estrategias comunicacionales, el cine venezolano necesita de estrategias alternativas que abarquen todo el contexto. Además, se evidenció que existe ausencia de nuevas estrategias, las más pertinentes para mejorar el desarrollo de la comercialización tales como el apalancamiento, la cual se conocen las causas recurrentes dentro de una organización, el franquiciamiento, que es la ayuda con otras empresas para la explotación de un producto, las intensivas funciones continuas en el espacio donde permiten tomar al cine venezolano como un producto y posicionarlo en el mercado, desarrollarlo en ese mercado y la forma de su desarrollo. El cine venezolano, podría utilizar las herramientas de las estrategias comunicacionales y alternativas, para alcanzar una comercialización efectiva, partiendo de su distribución y exhibición e intensificando la cultura nacional.
