dc.descriptionLiving in democracy is not born from imposition, it is a collective construction made from the conviction that it is the best alternative that is built and strengthened in coexistence. Citizens are the driving force and guarantors of strengthening it by fully exercising their duties and rights through decision-making in public affairs. Consequently, it requires capacities and values ​​that have their main support in education. Therefore, in this essay we reflect on the educational management, democracy and citizenship the role that they have had to live in these difficult times when we face the tense particularities of the country in coexistence with the COVID-19 Pandemic. We maintain that our future and project as a nation is not thought from the rationality of progress and transcendence that education represent.en-US
dc.descriptionVivir en democracia no nace de la imposición, es una construcción colectiva hecha desde el convencimiento de que es la mejor alternativa para vivir, y se construye y fortalece en la convivencia. Los ciudadanos son motor y garantes de fortalecerla al hacer ejercicio pleno de sus deberes y derechos por medio de la toma de decisión en los asuntos públicos. En consecuencia, se requiere de capacidades y valores que tienen en la educación su principal apoyo. Por ello, en el presente ensayo reflexionamos sobre la Gerencia Educativa, democracia y ciudadanía el rol que les ha tocado vivir en estos difíciles momentos en que hacemos frente a las tensas particularidades del país en coexistencia con la Pandemia del COVID-19. Sostenemos que nuestro futuro y proyecto, como nación, no está pensado desde la racionalidad del progreso y trascendencia que representa la educación.es-ES
