The proposal to consider the research line in Local Human Development, Participation and Social Policy, responds to the objective of strengthening investigative work, in a problematic area of ​​great relevance for Venezuelan society, as are the problems related to the development local human rights, territorial development, participation and politics Social. Research in this field, both of the teachers as of the students, can be addressed through research projects, field works, monographic reports individual or collective, and even with internships, what which constitutes a strength to sustain academic work. In addition, the establishment of cooperation agreements and the action of teachers and students in related activities with the alternatives of joint work between curricular units. All these activities open the possibility of incorporating to other institutions and people to this work.La propuesta de considerar la línea de investigación en Desarrollo Humano Local, Participación y Política Social, responde al objetivo de fortalecer el trabajo investigativo, en un área problemática de gran pertinencia para la sociedad venezolana, como son los problemas relacionados con el desarrollo humano local, el desarrollo territorial, la participación y la política social. La investigación en este campo, tanto de los profesorescomo de los estudiantes, puede abordarse a través de proyectos de investigación, trabajos de campo, informes monográficos individuales o colectivos, e incluso con pasantías, lo que constituye una fortaleza para sustentar el trabajo académico. Además, el establecimiento de acuerdos de cooperación y la acción de profesores y estudiantes en actividades relacionadas con las alternativas de trabajo conjunto entre unidades  curriculares. Todas estas actividades abren la posibilidad de incorporar a otras instituciones y personas a este trabajo.
