Resumen
This final graduation work of the Bachelor of Geography of the National University of
Luján, is part of project “the Agricultural Producers project of the Luján Party: The
productive strategies of family farmers in a rural-urban interface party” (Res. CS-222 /
17) that since its approval it has tried to deepen different lines of research lines that have
advanced in a characterization of the updated party, in a context where there is no
statistical information available on agricultural activities in general and to a lesser extent
The small family production.
The present investigation seeks to analyze the productive and reproductive trajectories
of the Bolivian horticulturists of the Luján party towards the construction of a “new
territorial identity”, as part of the Family Farming universe. Inquire into the strategies
that horticulturists implement based on the particular territorial dynamics of Luján.
To fulfill these designs, an exhaustive field work has been carried out based on the
conduct and systematization of surveys, in-depth interviews complemented with the
analysis of specialized bibliography and statistics of the sector. In addition, maps have
been made that summarize the trajectories of the various groups that make up Luján's
horticulture
The conclusions that have been reached are a way of contributing to the understanding
of the territories of rural-urban interface, as extremely complex and dynamic spaces,
crossed by pressures such as commodity production and real estate speculation;
contribute to the conceptualization of the territory and characterize the horticulturists of
the party.
