Pedro Lombardo considered the triad: truth-immutability-simplicity of God in the eighth chapter of the first book of Sentences. The reception of this text in the XIII century was driven by the comments made by different authors, among whom Albertus Magnus stands out. This research seeks to explore Albertus Magnus’ contribution to the divine attribute of simplicity and point out some similarities and differences with the contributions of Bonaventure and Thomas Aquinas.Pedro Lombardo consideró la tríada verdad-inmutabilidad-simplicidad de Dios en la distinción octava del primer libro de las Sentencias. La recepción de este texto en el siglo XIII fue vehiculizada por los comentarios de numerosos autores, entre los que se destacó Alberto Magno. Nuestro trabajo busca explorar el aporte del maestro coloniense sobre el atributo divino de simplicidad y señalar algunas semejanzas y diferencias con las contribuciones de Buenaventura y Tomás de Aquino.
