It is intended to determine the presence of H. pylori antigen in feces of inhabitants of the Canton Puerto Lopez. 60 samples were studied with 28 positive cases (46%). The results of this study show that the presence of H. pylori is common in people with digestive symptoms.Se pretende determinar la presencia del antígeno de H. pylori en heces de habitantes del Cantón Puerto López. Se estudiaron 60 muestras con 28 casos positivos (46%). Los resultados de este estudio demuestran que la presencia de H. pylori es frecuente en los habitantes del Cantón.
