| dc.description | RESUMENEl propósito central de este estudio es presentar mediante un marco de referencia teórico, documental y metodológico, lineamientos para una gestión integral académica-administrativa de las funciones universitarias bajo los enfoques gerenciales actuales, que permitan establecer las acciones orientadas al perfeccionamiento y evaluación integral de la gerencia universitaria. Dichos lineamientos estuvieron enmarcados bajo la integración del proceso administrativo que se lleva a cabo a través de las fases de planificación, organización, dirección y control en lo relacionado a las funciones básicas de la gestión académico-administrativa universitarias como son: docencia, investigación, extensión bajo los enfoques gerenciales de gerencia estratégica, calidad total, la quinta disciplina y empowerment por considerarse enfoques que mantienen su vigencia. Los resultados fueron presentados en una matriz de gestión integral de diagnósticos de problemas y acciones metodológicas a desarrollar.ABSTRACT The central purpose of this study is to present a theoretical documentary and methodological frame of reference for guidelines to a comprehensive management of the academic-administrative functions of the university under the current approaches enabling actions aimed at improving this management and evaluating it in an integral manner. The said guidelines were framed within the integration of the administrative process through the planning, organization, direction and control phases in relation to the basic functions of the university such as teaching, research, and extension under the managerial approaches of strategic management, total quality, the fifth discipline and empowerment on the grounds that they still retain their validity. The results were presented in a matrix of comprehensive management of diagnostic problems and methodological actions to be developed. | es-ES |
