dc.descriptionThis article aims to present the WEIRD character – acronym to Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich and Democratic – of the central intuitions used by Analytic Jurisprudence, providing evidence to the critique made by Leiter’s Naturalized Jurisprudence in relation to ethnographic constraints of the Jurisprudence. We conclude that the intuitions about Law used by the Analytic Jurisprudence match a style of thinking situated at the extreme analytic end of the 'analytic x holistic' scale that doesn’t correspond to the pattern of all human populations, and do not allow universal inferences about the concept of Law.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artigo pretende apresentar o potencial caráter WEIRD – Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich and Democratic – das intuições usadas na filosofia analítica do Direito, fornecendo evidência à crítica feita pela Teoria Naturalizada do Direito de Brian Leiter sobre a limitação etnográfica do recurso às intuições dentro da teoria jurídica. Essas intuições sobre o Direito advêm de um estilo de raciocínio situado no extremo fim analítico da escala 'analítico x holístico' que não corresponde ao padrão da humanidade, não produzindo inferências universalizáveis sobre o conceito de Direito.pt-BR
