Factores que influyen en la demanda de servicios de personas con hemofilia

Caracterizar los factores que influyen en la demanda de servicios de personas con hemofília en el distrito Sanitario Nº 3 del Estado Nueva Esparta, durante el año 2012. Método: La investigación se ubicó dentro del tipo de estudio prospectivo, descriptivo y transversal. Se tomó como población a las personas con problemas de cuagulopatias diagnosticadas y registradas en la asociación de hemofilia filial Nueva Esparta 114 y en el distrito sanitario Nº 3; 51 personas. Se realizaron entrevistas no estructuradas a los representantes del equipo de salud del distrito Sanitario Nº 3 del Estado Nueva Esparta, mientras que para las personas con hemofilia se utilizó un cuestionario de selección simple. Resultados: el equipo de salud del Distrito Sanitario N° 3, tiene un bajo nivel de conocimiento sobre la hemofilia, lo que influye sobre una limitada participación en la atención a las personas hemofílicas que acuden a los centros de salud dependientes de este distrito, 76% de las personas con hemofilia encuestadas prefiere acudir al Hospital Central “Dr. Luis Ortega” para la administración del tratamiento anti hemofílico, 65% considera que el nivel de capacitación de equipo de salud del Distrito Sanitario Nº 3 para la administración del tratamiento anti hemofílico es bajo. A fin de optimizar sus esfuerzos para facilitar la salud de sus pacientes, es importante que los centros de salud del Distrito Sanitario N° 3 ofrezcan el tratamiento adecuado y los cuidados psicosociales como parte de un enfoque de atención multidisciplinaria. To characterize the factors that influence the demand for people with hemophilia in the Sanitary District No. 3 of the State of Nueva Esparta in 2012. Results: The health team Sanitary District No. 3, has a low level of knowledge about hemophilia, which affects a limited role in the care of hemophiliacs who attend health centers dependent on this district, 76 % of people with hemophilia surveyed prefer to go to the Central Hospital "Dr. Luis Ortega "for the administration of antihemophiliac, 65% believe that the level of training of health team Sanitary District No. 3 for the administration of antihemophiliac is low. To maximize its efforts to facilitate the health of their patients, it is important that health centers Sanitary District No. 3 offering proper treatment and psychosocial care as part of a multidisciplinary care approach.
