Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general conocer la percepción del
colectivo LGBT en Lima acerca del turismo gay friendly. La metodología utilizada
fue de nivel descriptivo, diseño fenomenológico tipo básica, con enfoque cualitativo,
se obtuvo información a través del instrumento de recolección de datos-guía de
entrevista, el cual se aplicó a 12 personas del colectivo Lgbt, siendo estas
codificadas a través del software Atlas ti.Los principales resultados fueron que no
hay aceptación en Lima por parte de la comunidad heterosexual para el colectivo
Lgbt, que por el contrario aún existe la homofobia y discriminación ya que Lima es
una sociedad muy cerrada y no admite situaciones ajenas a ellos, y al no existir
aceptación no se genera tours exclusivos para este colectivo provocando un
rechazo más marcado lo cual impide a ellos el no ejercer su derecho de realizar un
tour libre sin condición. Referente a las conclusiones, se evidencia que no se ve un
turismo gay friendly, con respecto a ello Lima perdería una gran cantidad de público
extranjero gay ya que ellos solo asisten a países donde son aceptados además de
la pérdida económica de una oportunidad de un segmento de un poder adquisitivo
más alto.
