Revisión sistemática: tipos de coagulantes para la remoción de metales en aguas contaminadas.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar de qué manera los coagulantes
permiten la remoción de metales presentes en aguas contaminadas, para lo cual se
planteó, definir qué tipo de coagulantes permiten la remoción de metales presentes en
aguas contaminadas, definir cuáles son las características que diferencian a los
coagulantes naturales de los químicos y determinar cuáles son las actividades que
generan mayores concentraciones de metales en las aguas.
Después de realizada la investigación se tubo para los tipos de coagulantes que
permiten la remoción de metales pesados, que los coagulantes inorgánicos son los
más efectivos, aunque fue comprobado que son escasamente empleados para su
eliminación siendo un 20% del total los que lo utilizan. De igual manera para las
características que diferencian a los coagulantes naturales de los químicos, los
coagulantes inorgánicos son menos empleados, son los que presentan mayores
porcentajes de remoción, como la turbidez en promedios de 70 a 90% a diferencia de
los inorgánicos y por último las actividades que generan mayores concentraciones de
metales en las aguas, son las actividades industriales, eliminando metales como Pb,
Hg, Cd, As y Cr. Para lo cual se recomienda a los futuros investigadores que realicen
mayores investigaciones empleando diversos tipos de coagulantes como los metálicos
para la remoción de metales pesados, ya que está demostrada que son eficazmente
útiles para acelerar la coagulación y precipitación de los metales pesados.
