Resumen
La presente tesis “Aplicación de óxido de calcio y cloruro de magnesio para
mejorar capacidades físicas mecánica de la subrasante, Circunvalación II,
Juliaca”, objetivo general determinar la influencia de la aplicación de óxido de
calcio y cloruro de magnesio para mejorar las capacidades físicas mecánicas de
la subrasante de Circunvalación II. La metodología empleada es de tipo
aplicativo, con nivel de investigación explicativo, diseño experimental y un
enfoque cuantitativo, posee dos variables independientes (incorporación de
óxido de calcio y cloruro de magnesio) y dos variables dependientes
(capacidades físicas y mecánicas del suelo de subrasante).
Resultados obtenidos, se obtuvo que el suelo de subrasante tiene un IP
promedio de 13% y un CBR de 5.77% y que con la incorporación de 9% de óxido
de calcio y 7% de cloruro de magnesio redujo el IP a 6.3% y 10.27%, el CBR
incrementó a 104.57% y 11.27%.
Conclusión, la aplicación de óxido de calcio y cloruro de magnesio si influyen en
la mejora de las capacidades físicas y mecánicas de la subrasante de la Avenida
Circunvalación II, redujeron el índice de plasticidad e incrementaron la capacidad
de soporte del suelo de subrasante. El cloruro de magnesio reduce el índice de
plasticidad y el óxido de calcio incrementa la capacidad de soporte (CBR).
